Character Biography:
Born Katerina Petrova, it seems that it’s become quite the well known name around the world. Either as a lover, or somebody seeking revenge from the trouble this beauty had caused. Even before she became this cold Vampire, Katherine had had her fair share of trouble in life, first off, having a baby outside of wedlock and having to give it up for adoption. All in all, this carried on the Petrova blood line, thus, leading to the Doppelganger, Elena Gilbert. After being exiled to England, she found herself being courted by a rather wealthy and handsome man by the name of Niklaus Mikaelson. However, his interest in her wasn’t for romantic reasons, in fact, he wished to use her Doppelganger blood to break the curse of his werewolf side which was held dormant for hundreds of years. Alas, his plan was destroyed when she ran and later became a Vampire thanks to killing herself with Vampire Blood in her system.
Since then, she has been running from the man with a vicious temper and thirst for revenge, ending up in the small town of Mystic Falls, South Virginia. She was a long way from home, and was seeking refuge in a small town which would keep her unnoticed. Yet, this was not how things turned out. She later fell for the Salvatore brothers, playing them off against one another until they later died for her love. Once again, toying with them from afar. They had had Vampire blood in their systems, before their death to rescue Katherine. And since that moment on, she’s been in hiding, watching the brothers from a distance. No matter how much she hid it, she loved both men.
Returning to Mystic Falls in 2009, thanks to a certain elder Salvatore’s obsession with her, she’s been playing with each resident for her own selfish reasons. It seems that she was planning to hand over everything Klaus needed for the sacrifice in a desperate attempt to save herself, bargain with the Original Vampire. But of course, she had everything wrong, including the curse he was meant to be using the Doppelganger blood for. But all that was behind her now. It was the past, and even though she despised everyone in town, she has decided to come back after hearing of a few deaths in town. Including Klaus’ and Elena’s. Trying her best to convince her descendant to die, the sooner the better in Katherine’s case.
With a bunch of new faces alongside her in town, Katherine has made it her mission to use them to bend to her every will. However, there is one in particular she cannot stand. Faye Chamberlain. They’re personalities seem to clash with one another on a frequent basis, which is a shame considering how similar the girls are. One boy has caught her eye as of right now though, or boy’s for that matter. The Armstrong brothers. What better way to occupy her time, than to seduce another set of brothers?

→ Originally settled in Bulgaria in the late 15th century before having a baby out of wedlock and was shipped off to England.
→ Was the first Petrova Doppelganger to Tatia, and was supposed to be a part of the sacrifice before killing herself and becoming a Vampire.

→ Is selfish, manipulative and a complete bitch to those around her. She’s never trusted with valuable information unless she has tortured or seduced it out of you.
→ Has taken it upon herself to lure the new faces into her web, in particular the Armstrong brothers, Nick and Jake. Later discovering the amount of power they hold, alongside the rest of their circle.
